The power of setting intentions



You’ve got to live, breathe, eat, and sleep what you’re after.

So how do you turn a mindset into a reality?


A crucial step in the manifesting process towards your goals and visions is –

intention setting. It is the kick-starting spark and creative power that pushes our desires to be heard by the Universe so the Law of Attraction can work her magic.


Definition ‘intention’- a thing intended; a deliberate aim or plan.


You can set intentions for your day and how you’d like it to go, an intention you have for your business, or for manifesting something in your life. I personally set an intention every morning before I start my day so I have a clear map of how I would like my day to play out. Without a reason, a purpose, a vision, etc., there is no map, and you're just driving down a road with no destination in mind.


When you set intentions you will find you are more focused and it will help guide you throughout your day because when you live your life on purpose and with purpose you will make decisions with intension rather than by habit.


HOW TO SET INTENTIONS

  • · When setting intentions my best advice is too set them at the beginning of the day

  • · Create a ritual and incorporate your intentions in your existing morning routine

  • · Keep your intention positive, uplifting, and always in the present tense

  • · Aim for short term intentions to achieve the intention in more powerful segments

  • · Really focus on and asses what it is that you’re seeking

  • · Share your intention verbally with yourself by sharing out loud what you desire


HERE'S AN EXAMPLE OF SOME INTENTIONS THAT I MYSELF HAVE PERSONALLY SET


· Today I intend to step into a more fearless version of myself, by working truthfully and authentically from within - because when I’m fearless I shine in so many ways.

· Today I intend to be kind to myself as I take the nourishing steps needed to bring my visions to life, by trusting my path.

· Today I intend to create space for what does and doesn’t serve me so I can live authentically in flow and feel happiness and contentment.

· Today I intend to focus on what I can do and what I have over what I don’t have and can’t do.


SO WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?

Go ahead, start now. Set an intention for the rest of today. How will you feel at the end of today; accomplished, content, happy? How will you tackle the next task you have ahead of you? Or how will you move towards the goals you’ve set for yourself in health, wealth and happiness?
